You found the secret page! Look at you go!
As an author, you never want to go around announcing your projects too early. Ideas change, timelines stretch, and scattering your focus can be detrimental to productivity. However, I always have a long line of pending projects and thought it would be fun to pull it out of the sock drawer and list it here, super secret-like. If anybody’s curious, here’s what may be coming down the pipeline after the books listed on the site’s main dropdown are completed:
The Lodestar Chronicle. This will be my next big fantasy saga after The Eyes of Fate (though they are completely unrelated). It’s actually under heavy pre-development now and will definitely happen. The plot is outlined for the most part and it’s looking to be 4-6 novels in length, each about 50k-75k words. After the “test-run” that was the Eyes of Fate, I’m very excited to get back into a big high fantasy story with a far more exciting world and robust magic system to explore.
The Nomad series (working title). Super excited for this one. This will be an ongoing serial series set in a post-apocalyptic world where a meteor impact killed most life on earth and contaminated the planet’s water. The story follows a lone Shaolin warrior monk from our day, awakened from stasis in the future and charged with finding a cure. Technically, I have about 15% of a first draft done on book 1 of this series. It will draw heavily from my real-world martial arts training.
Echo Grove. Blake Morgan receives a text message from his presumed-dead sister, beckoning him to meet her in Echo Grove, a rural hotel with a haunted reputation. Definitely a change of pace from my normal genre, this would be a mystery thriller set in the modern day. The thing is outlined almost completely and I think it will work well.
Babel (working title). In the future, a ragtag team of explorers seek a rumored power locked away at the top of the ancient ruins of the Tower of Babel. I’ve got two chapters of a first draft written and I think it’s headed in a good direction.
